Craig Lewis, ExecutiveDirector for the Clean Coalition, presented on theLong Island Community Microgrid Projectat theGermany California Energy Storage Symposium, which took place on June 7, 2016 in San Francisco, CA.The Clean Coalition was also a proud partner organization for this event.

The German American Chambers of Commerce West hosted a group of selected German companies and experts in the field of energy storage from June 6-8. The group met with private businesses, research institutions, and government representatives to exchange ideas, discuss new developments, and lay the groundwork for future cooperation.The highlight of the delegation’s visit wasthis full day symposium on Tuesday, June 7.

With a focus on transatlantic approaches to the future of energy storage, the program included expert speeches from the German Energy Storage Association and the Technical University of Dortmund, and U.S. energy storage experts, as well as presentations from seven innovative German companies.
